I’m sorry for the delay. I meant to send this letter earlier, but what with the time change, and my circadian clock being out of whack, I couldn’t concentrate hard enough to get pen to paper. I’m amazed I wasn’t in a car accident getting this letter to the post office. Blurry eyes, numb brain, hard time staying awake. Did I mention how mixed up my circadian clock is? It’s like everything is out of time. Anyway, I’m glad I made it, and thank you for posting this slightly tardy letter.

Glenn Sakatch

(We like what you’ve done there, Glenn. Hope you, and the rest of us, are feeling more timely soon.)

Not buying it

Re:  Trudeau’s hidden agenda (Lorrie Goldstein). Our PM’s idealistic hidden agenda for us includes total control, heavy carbon taxing, for us to live in high density cities, own nothing,  and admire China. Thanks but NO thanks!

(And worship him, right?)

Muni budget time

Before council starts the bogus budget meetings and determines the next tax increase, it is critical for transparency that ALL the reserve funds that they are sitting on are publicly disclosed.  This is a critical piece of information that the taxpayers need to be made aware of especially if they want to consider any type of tax increase.

Jim Hope
(There’s a lot about the budget that doesn’t feel very transparent.)

VOTE FOR PERSON, NOT PARTY

I have always voted for who I thought was the best person to look after my interests as well as those of our country. I have voted for all three of the major parties at one time or another.

I cannot understand why people, regardless of the actions of the government in power, continue to vote for the same party regardless of the decisions it makes.

BOB MORRIS

(How some people get re-elected is mind boggling to us.)

JUST TRUDEAU CLONES

Federal minister Sean Fraser threw in a degrading comment about the trucker protest in the House of Commons recently. This is the guy who totally botched up his responsibilities when he was minister of immigration and now pretends he is actually doing a good job as housing minister.

I have 100 times more respect for a hard-working trucker than I do for any of the incompetent actors in the Liberal party. They are all simply clones of their unpopular, scandal-riddled “leader,” Justin Trudeau.

GISELE LAVICTOIRE

(We also have more respect for hard working Canadians. But was clogging an entire city for weeks really very hard work, if work at all?)
