Murder charge after man found dead on driveway in Sydney’s west

A 42-year-old man has been charged with murder after a 60-year-old man died outside a home in Sydney’s west on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to a home on Dargie Street in Mount Pritchard about 3.30pm following reports of an alleged assault on the driveway of the home.

The older man was unconscious and not breathing when paramedics arrived. They attempted CPR, but the man was declared dead at the scene. A crime scene was established.

The 42-year-old has been refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.

Any witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident are urged to contact Fairfield Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
